Welcome to ArirangFit: Where K-Flow Meets Yoga, Pilates, and Contemporary Movement!

 Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. For those who don’t know me yet, I teach Yoga and Pilates here at Syracuse University and the local YMCA . My background is actually in Contemporary Dance (my major) and Korean Traditional Dance (my minor). For a long time, I’ve been thinking about how to bring these two worlds together in a way that feels fresh, fun, and genuinely good for the body. And that’s how ArirangFit was born. 💡 The Story Behind It When I’m teaching Pilates core work or leading a Vinyasa flow, I constantly see the overlap with Korean dance. The deep core engagement we do in Pilates? It’s exactly like the Danjeon (lower belly) breathing in Korean dance. The deep lunges and squats? They perfectly match Gulshin —the fluid knee-bending movements that traditional dancers use to stay grounded.
